KINGS

I don't disagree with a "true kings" definition as one who is decisive, who loves, and who is wise whatsoever. I actually like the sound of that a lot better. Although the term "KING," when it was introduced to the HIP-HOP culture, has developed it's own meaning. "KING" is actually a term used by graffiti bombers. For instance, in San Diego we have "Parasite" who is "KING of the orange line," those who take that trolley route know what I'm talking about. The darkside of the hip-hop culture is that it's not ALWAYS "peace, love, unity, and having fun." KING is supposed to be defined as something egotistical. Which is why I want to bring up the point that we shouldn't take our name so lightly just because we are decisive, because we love, and because we are wise. We could acknowledge those traits but if we are to represent a name such as CYPHER CITY KINGS, we better come with it, "destroy all lines." Battling is all about proving one's self and the more we have to defend our name and prove that we are "kings", the stronger our reputation becomes. The reason why I quoted STYLE WARS, " if you specialize in one thing, you can't call yourself an all out king," is strictly because I don't want anyone who reps our name to take the term KINGS too lightly. Also the reason why Andre and Austin have to earn KINGS on their own. If you've ever been bashed when we were out of town, then maybe you'd know where I'm coming from with this.
